Guide To Blogging For Profits For Starters

If you have a real talent for creating original and unique content, why not make a profit out of it? There are many blogging platforms on the internet that you can choose from. You can sign up for a free platform like Tumblr or Blogger. You can also learn how to setup a WordPress blog on your own domain name and hosting account through tutorials on Youtube. Post about anything that interests you, but make sure to make your website about one topic, and start another website if you want to talk about another topic. You can write about your favorite celebrities, latest fashions, movies, hobbies, your job, and other stuff that you can think of. Just make sure to create one blog on each topic that you want to cover so you can focus each site on one thing.
Once you’ve picked the topic that you want to start on and are adding a new post each day, you will start to get some free search traffic. No matter how great your content is, if there’s no traffic, it’s useless. The only way you’re going to make money out of your blog is when you start generating traffic.
One way to draw traffic to your blog by joining social networking sites. Popular sites like Facebook and Twitter are great platforms to find potential visitors. Sign up and start adding friends. The more friends you have, the more potential visitors you can get. Link your blog to your account so whenever you post something new, it automatically becomes your new status on your social networking account. Of course, you have to update your blog regularly to keep your visitors looking for more.
Another way to generate traffic is to build backlinks. You can either exchange links with other websites through blog posts, or get listed in web directories. Link out to other people’s posts in your posts and some of them will link back to you. If you’re actively participating in group forums and discussions, create a signature that will link back to your blog. You can also submit original content to popular article directories. It can draw generous amount of traffic to your blog and increase your rankings.
Once you are successfully driving traffic to your site, begin to monetize. Sign up for a free advertising network that can provide you ads to publish on your blog. You can choose from a variety of these networks like Google Adsense, Nuffnang, and Yahoo! Publisher Network (YPN). Select whatever works for your blog. You can earn through PPC (Pay Per Click) or CPM (Cost Per Thousand Views) ads. In PPC ads, you get paid for every click. CPM ads, on the other hand, pay you for every 1000 impressions.
You can get maximum returns by selling advertising space directly to advertisers. There is no need for ad networks for this method so you can enjoy bigger profits. Although it’s not easy to attract advertisers directly; you have to work hard for it. Get your blog to rank highly on search engines by producing content and building links, increase its popularity, and generate as much as visitors as you can. That way, advertisers will start coming to you directly.
Affiliate Marketing is also a great way to make money on your blog. You can earn by promoting any of the available products in an affiliate marketplace through your blog. You can earn commission when a customer buys product through your affiliate link.
If you have a ready-made blog that you can’t maintain on a regular basis, why not sell it instead? There are bloggers out there who buys existing blogs. You can locate them through sites like Flippa. Create an appealing sales letter and package your blog to grab potential buyers’ attention.
Utilize these methods and earn great profits on your blog. Just learn to be patient and wait for your efforts to pay off. Remember, money doesn’t come easy. And no hard work goes unpaid.

How To Increase Traffic To Your Website

Here is a diagram of the two main internet business models, and the four best ways to get visitors. The two main internet business models are having a website where you sell your own products, and having a website where you sell affiliate products or ad space for other people’s products. The four best ways to get visitors are from search engines, affiliates, paid traffic, and your email list.

Lets look at each of the four ways to get traffic.
1. Search Engine Traffic
There are two ways you can get search engine traffic. First, you can target a medium to high search volume keyword with the homepage of your domain. For example, if you want to target the keyword “video game guides” you should get a domain name like “videogameguides.com” or if that is taken add a word to the end of it like “videogameguidesworld.com”. Then build links to your homepage with variations of the anchor text “video game guides”. If you look at the search results for most high to medium search volume keywords, you will notice that its mostly homepages with keywords in their domain names that are ranking in the top 10 results.
The other way to get search traffic is to add a new article or blog post to your website every day. It should have at least 300 words, and it’s page title tag should be between 5 and 9 words long to give you a chance to rank for as many different keyword combinations as possible. Most people are too lazy to put in the effort to do this, but the people that do are usually awarded with good results.
2. Affiliate Traffic
The only way to get affiliate traffic is to have your own product with a high paying affiliate program. If your product is cool enough, converts well, and appeals to a large audience, then affiliates will promote it through banner ads on their websites and their email lists.
To attract affiliates, you should have a helpful affiliate resource page on your site with plenty of nice banners and pre-made emails they can send to their lists. You will naturally attract affiliates the more traffic you get, as some of the people that visit your site will become affiliates. You can also contact website owners in your niche directly and ask them if they will promote your product through a banner on their site or through their email list.
3. Paid Traffic
The only way to profitably buy traffic is to have your own product with an affiliate program. The reason is because you are competing to buy traffic with product owners, and they bid up the prices to a point where only product owners can afford to buy traffic because only they have high enough margins. When you buy traffic you have to factor in the new affiliates you get from that traffic, and your email list growth. If you buy traffic to your website and you don’t have your own product, you will not make enough money on people clicking your ads to cover the cost of the bought traffic, and since you do not have an affiliate program no one will send you that bonus traffic.
4. Email List Traffic
You can grow your email list by having an opt-in in your side bar, an opt-in for people to go to your product purchase page, and and opt-in after they buy to join your customer email list (your most profitable list, since they have already bought from you). You can also offer people a free report or video with some of your best tips to get them to join your list.
Once you have your list, you should email them new blog posts you write, new videos you make, cool media you find around the internet related to your topic, free things you can give them, occasional offers for your products and affiliate products, and anything else you can think of that will make your list subscribers like you more. Remember, you are trying to build a relationship with them so they will keep opening your emails, so only send them good stuff that they will like.
Those are the best ways to increase traffic to your websites. You should try to diversify your sources as much as possible so that if one dries up you will have others to fall back on. That is why it is so important to create your own products, because without them you will not be able to get affiliate traffic or paid traffic which are two extremely important streams. Always remember that everything takes hard work, so get started now.

5 Website To Get Paid For Sharing Your Files!

Get paid to share your files! The first time i heard that, i thought it was a joke! But this is the 21st century, and every thing is possible. You can now make money by sharing your files. There are actually websites, where you can down load any kind of files or documents you may have, and every time someone downloads that file, you get a couple of cents. I think it is a very well thought out idea that helps both sides. You make some money with a file that otherwise would be useless, and people who need it, have a very fast and cheap way to find and download what they need. Here is a list of websites where you can get paid to share your files.
docstoc.com
It is an impressive document directory, that enables you to upload your files and documents there. And when i say documents, i mean anything in these formats: pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx, pps, ppsx, rtf, and txt. Yes you can even upload your articles or how-to’s, as long as they are in one of the above format. There is a lot of potential here. The pay is based on the number of times your files are downloaded, and the revenue earned from ad sense displayed on the page where your uploaded file can be downloaded. Meaning whatever amount of money the Website earns, by displaying Google’s ad sense on your file page, will be shared with you. The maximum size of a single file that you can upload is 50 MB, so make sure your files are not to big.
ziddu.com
You can upload unlimited amount of Photos, Videos, Audios and Documents. Each time one of your files is downloaded, you earn money, $0.001 to be exact. Once you reach $10, it can be redeemed for cash, and paid to you via pay pal. All Payments will be processed on the 10th of each month. The maximum file size is 200 MB.
depositfiles.com
DepositFiles – is a popular international service for safely transfer, storage, and distribute files. The pay is based on the size of your files, and you earn each time it’s downloaded. One of the nice things about this site is their Bonus program, which is a competition for more downloads. Whoever has the most downloaded files, gets a bonus of 200% over their earnings for the period. For example, if you earned $500 in that period (usually a month), you will receive $1500 as your prize. You also earn 20% of your referral’s earnings.
cash.uploading.com
It’s another file hosting service. Upload your files, and post the links on your Website or blog. Every time someone downloads one of your files, depending on the size of your file, you earn anywhere from $1 to up to $100 (per 1000). They pay for downloads generated from 36 countries around the world . You earn 10% of your referrals earnings. The minimum payout amount is $30. Payouts are sent via Epassporte, AlertPay, PayPal and Webmoney within 7 days of  request.
easyshare.com
You’ll earn “ePoints” each time someone downloads your files, up to 2 ePoints per download.  For every 1000 ePoints, you will be paid $1, which i think is a good deal, considering the amount of downloads performed everyday, worldwide. Pay outs are made via PayPal (min $10), ePassporte (min $50), WebMoney (min$50) and wire transfer (min$500). You also have the premium membership option, which empowers for faster and more downloads.

How To Make Money Blogging

More and more people are realising that blogging is one of the best ways to start your own online business. It requires minimal start up costs, you can build an impressive and loyal readership over time and once you know how to monetize your blog it can also bring in a decent income that will keep on coming even on the days when you don’t update your blog.

There are several ways to set up a blog online. You could use WordPress, Blogger, or another free site that hosts your blog for you; or alternatively you can set up your own blog under your own domain name.

If you want to make serious money from blogging, you must have complete control over your blog – and that’s something the free blogging accounts won’t give you. You’ll be bound by their terms and conditions and that usually includes not being able to actively promote anything. There are plenty of people who have established a blog only to have it removed without notice some weeks or months later.

It will cost you a few dollars to buy your domain name and set up a web server that will host your blog, but the benefits will far outweigh the cost involved. It can literally be as little as $20 a year we’re talking about here – and that buys you total freedom.

Once you’re ready to set your blog up you’ll need to choose a good theme and layout for it. You might find one that relates to your choice of subject (more on that in a moment) or else there might be one you just like the look of. But there are thousands of templates available for you to use – a simple search on Google will reveal the ones that will be best suited to your topic.

But perhaps the most important question is what you are going to blog about. The whole world is your oyster here – some people blog about their lives in general; some blog about their jobs; some blog about their hobbies; some tell the world about their kids and what it’s like to be a parent, and still others blog about the weird world of celebrities. But whatever you choose to blog about it needs to be something you are passionate about. Don’t forget, you are going to be writing about this topic several times a week, and if you don’t have the enthusiasm for it, that will show in your posts – and no one else will have the enthusiasm to read them.

Okay – so you’ve got your subject. Now you have to start writing your blog posts. If you take a look at just a few of the blogs already online, you’ll notice that the length of the posts varies a lot. Some people only write a paragraph or two each time, but you’ll get better results if you go for something a little longer than this. Around 400 to 500 words makes for a good post with a lot of information in it; some people write hugely long posts that are thousands of words long and could be called an e-book by another name.

But you can also take the format of this blog, by posting a short blog entry which leads into a longer article. This has the benefit of highlighting a lot of blog posts on the home page of the site, and people can then click through and read the ones they like the most.

You should remember however that there are no real rules when it comes to blogging. Over time you will naturally find what works for you, and your blog will settle down into a nice pattern that both you and your readers will enjoy. You’ll find your character and personality will start to come through in your writing too; don’t fight against this as it is one of the hallmarks of blogging. It is, after all, a personal account of an individual’s life and experiences, so show people what you’re made of! You’ll get a more loyal – and bigger – audience like this.

So you’ve got your blog up and running and you’re posting to it on a regular basis. The next step is to get it in front of as many interested eyeballs as possible.
One great way to do this is to submit it to as many of the social bookmarking sites as possible. You can also join social networking sites and build a profile which contains a link to your blog. Other no cost ways to generate traffic include writing free articles for article directories with a link to your blog at the end, and creating signatures at the end of any posts you make to internet forums, and also in all the emails you send out. When you really start thinking about it, you don’t actually need to spend anything to generate plenty of traffic.

All we need to do now is monetize the blog itself. You’ll want to generate some money from all the visitors you’ll start getting, and there are plenty of ways to do this easily. Google Adsense is probably the most well known method – you can join the program for free and display contextual ads that your visitors will be interested in to maximise your click through rate.

There are also a handful of websites which give you the opportunity to get paid for each blog post you make on a specific subject. Pay Per Post and Review Me are two such examples, and they will pay you a certain amount of money to review a product or website for the owner. In a similar vein you can also review and recommend other people’s products through affiliate links inserted into your blog posts, and earn money on commissions earned through any purchases people make.

And once you’re more established you can offer ad space on your blog too, and charge a fee for both classified and display ads if you wish. What could be better than setting your own price?

But there is one final step you can take with your blog if you enjoy a change of scene every now and again. You can sell your blog! Once it is established and has plenty of revenue and traffic, you can usually sell it for ten times its monthly revenue.

And then, you can start all over again with a whole new subject!

More Traffic Equals More Adsense Money

Successful Adsense publishers know one thing. Real money with Adsense has nothing to do with Adsense. The optimization strategies that haunt every forum, blog and article are only a very small part of the story of receiving a sizeable monthly cheque from Google.
The fundamental rule of Adsense is traffic. Without traffic, no Adsense clicks, regardless of how precisely you’ve picked your placements or how much time you’ve spent perfectly blending the ads into the structure of your content so that they now appear as additional links and not advertisements.
The large majority of Adsense Publishers forget this very important fact and focus on solely trying to improve their click through rate. Finding your optimum click through rate is extremely important but cannot take precedence over traffic as without the latter you can not find the former.
If you obsess about optimization before you’ve fleshed out your site and expanded its reach into the search engines you will never actually develop your website and even if you get your CTR up to something quite formidable you will only be making a fraction of what you would be if you’d focused on your sites expansion.
So what should you do? If the fundamental rule of Adsense is traffic, the fundamental rule of traffic is that you can’t get a repeat visitor until they’ve been a first time visitor, and a first time visitor can only come to your website through a certain number of channels.
Putting advertising aside as unless you’re playing the arbitrage game you won’t convert on the margins, you are left with two serious options - the search engine results and incoming links from other websites. The latter supports the former so I always concentrate on getting as many pages under as many keywords into the search engines as are related to the particular website I’m working on. This is Search Engine Optimization territory.
With SEO you are trying to force the search engines to recognize your website and individual pages within it as relevant to particular keywords. What you’re trying to say is that “my website is more relevant, and so more valuable, to that keyword search than the first ten that are already there”. The more times you can convince the search engines of this the more traffic your website will receive. The more traffic your website receives the more clicks it will generate on Adsense and the more money you will make.
Focus on working out which keywords are related to your particular niche, build content of value that answers the question of each keyword phrase and then get supporting links to back up your relevancy. If you do this for your website you will significantly increase your traffic. Once your traffic is organic and automated turn to optimizing your Adsense ads through testing different placements, colors, formats etc. Once you’ve done that, this website can be left pretty much on auto-pilot and you can turn your attention to the next project where you will be very easily able to replicate what you’ve just done. Now you’re into Adsense Empire Building territory and this is where the “real” money lies.

How To Monetize A Website With Adsense

So you have a website and you have some people coming to your website and what you would like is for these people to somehow give you some money. For you, Adsense is going to be a dream come true - if you add it to some of your pages today you will be making money by tommorrow - guaranteed!
The key to getting the most out of Adsense on a website that is already up and running revolves around three things:
1. Integrating it properly into the structure of your pages,
2. Optimizing the ads for your current traffic through testing and monitoring,
3. Bringing more traffic to your now optimized webpages.
How you integrate Adsense into your website is the single largest determiner of it's eventual performance. With that in mind, monetizers often fall into one of two traps.
1. They chase clicks and forget about the purpose their website actually serves. Pushing ads at every visitor might force a higher click through rate for a time but if you undermine your websites value it will eventually fall from grace.
2. If they've built a website around a topic that they are genuinely interested in, then as I was with my first site, they will be rather proud of it and therefore quite possessive over it - and consequently Ads are viewed as a bit of an intrusion. Plus as they relate to the people using their site they are often reluctant to "push" (as it feels) ads in front of them. These people therefore under utilize Adsense and are only earning a fraction of what they should be from their traffic.
Therefore, your biggest barrier to having Adsense perform at its optimum on your website will be that you either follow Adsense to closely, concentrating on clicks rather than your website which will eventually hail it's demise or your attachment to your site prevents you from fully integrating Adsense and limits your earnings.
Going back a couple of years, the first website I integrated Adsense into was a custom motorcycle resource center. It was making no money but was receiving between 700 and 1000 people every day from a combination of search engine queries, reciprocal links and repeat visitors. I have not touched that website for over 9 months but everyday it does an average of $70 to $80 with Adsense.
The process I went through on that website is the exact same one that everyone who seeks to monetize their website traffic with Adsense goes through.
A good place to start is these two articles:
and then move on to the Best Practices.

Adsense Psychology - Format and Placement

The first rule of integrating Adsense into your website is to acknowledge that your visitors will see and interact with your Adsense ads the way you see them and have consequently integrated them. If you think of the time you have spent deciding colors, site structure, images and everything else that makes your website, the same amount of energy and precision should go into getting Adsense just right on your webpages.
As you have complete control over the design and layout of your webpages, you also have complete control over how a visitor interprets and ultimately interacts with your pages - and this includes your Adsense Ads.
First and foremost, the size and placement of your ads suggests to the visitor how he or she ought to interact with them. For example,
1. If you use a 728 x 90 leaderboard at the top of your page you are saying to your visitors - "here are some ads which I do not consider to be actually part of my website but I hope that they will catch your eye as you look to the actual content of my website".
2. If you use a 120 x 600 skyscraper in either your left or right navigation you are saying to your visitor, these ads are like my navigation, something extra to the page which you are currently on and to be used like the rest of my navigation if something in them takes your fancy.
3. If you use one of the square or rectangle shapes inside your actual page content, you are saying to your visitors that "these ads are integral to the content of this page and should be read as you are reading the rest of these words - as content relating to the actual page topic".
Needless to say the last of these will always perform better than the other two examples.
View Adsense ads as supplemental content to your page content, integrate them into the structure of your webpages that way and your visitors will interact with them that way giving you a much higher click through rate.
This is the first step to success with Adsense. If you view Adsense as just an easy way to make a couple of extra dollars that's all you will do with it. If you take the time to structure your website and integrate Adsense so as to supplement the page content your click through rate and your earnings will go through the roof.
There are many ways to do this successfully and many different sites that Adsense can work on.

An Adsense Ad Is More Than An Ad

You will succeed with Adsense when your visitors wilfully look to them as a source of supplemental information to what your webpage provides. Therefore, if there is such a thing as a trick to succeeding with Adsense it is not to see Adsense Ads as advertisements.
The reason for this is that no one likes ads. Why? Because we're surrounded by the buggers.
Advertisements are viewed as an intrusion, Adsense Ads should be seen and integrated as a further resource for your website visitors.
The reason this is achievable with Adsense is down to the very nature of the ads:
1. The Adsense Ads are related to the content of the page that you put them on
The reason that Adsense is so popular and so effective at monetizing traffic is that the ads that appear on your website will be related to the content of each individual webpage. If you build a website about home insurance, then the ads on it will be about home insurance, if you build a website about Nike shoes then that's what the ads will be about and so forth. If integrated into your website correctly they're actually useful to your visitor and if something is useful it gets paid much more attention.
2. Adsense Ads are customizable
To not just be an ad, real integration into your website is necessary. The different format sizes and the color palettes all facilitate the integration of the ads into the fabric of your website.
3. The quality of the Ads
In the internet world Google is on top. Consequently, Google's advertising program - Adwords is used by thousands and thousands of quality businesses to reach their intended audience. This means that every niche market has a good selection of advertisers all writing carefully scripted ads to relate to the people using your website.
4. Because the Ads automatically change
Not only is the ad pool very large, the advertisers and the ads keep on changing. This keeps all your ads abreast of market trends as the advertisers constantly strive to better each other and themselves. The ads appearing on your site will evolve as your market evolves. Secondly, and this is important for sites that receive repeat visitors - your ads will often be different. If the same person reads the samepage twice in a two week time period they're more likely to click on ad both times if they are different each visit.
